If You Would Like To Book An Appointment

Please either email me at: lmktherapies@gmail.com or call me on 07795146117 (Please leave a voicemail if I'm unable to answer your call and I'll get back to you ASAP). Please confirm which therapy you would like to book and let me know if you have preferred days of the week/times of the day etc, so I can offer you appointment times that work for you.

Also, please be sure to let me know if you have any allergies and/or ongoing medical conditions, as some conditions may require a doctor/medical professional's approval before complementary therapies can be given. 

If you are interested in any facial therapies, please ensure that it has been at least 4 weeks since any botox or filler treatments.

Medical Conditions

Some pre-existing medical conditions may require your doctors approval in advance, if in doubt, please do not hesitate to contact me in the first instance. 

Please Note:

The therapies I provide are 'complementary therapies' and not 'alternative therapies', and as such, complementary therapies should not replace conventional medicines or advice as directed by your doctor or healthcare specialist/professional, nor should they be used to seek diagnosis.

 

If you have an undiagnosed healthcare concern, in the first instance, please consult your doctor/healthcare professional.

Each new client will be required to complete a consultation form detailing any medical issues & medical history in order to assist me in tailoring the therapies I provide. 

In relation to foot Reflexology, if you suspect you have a fungal nail infection/condition or verruca's, please seek advice and treatment where necessary from a medical professional or qualified foot health practitioner.

Gift Vouchers Available

Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions;

Gift Vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of purchase. Non-Refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash alternative. Appointment must be booked in by the expiry date. Failure to confirm and attend an appointment by the date specified invalidates the use of the voucher. Voucher must be presented at time of appointment. See Cancellation Policy regarding notice required for cancellations of appointments booked - If a voucher holder fails to attend their agreed appointment time and has not given sufficient notice in line with my cancellations policy, the money received for that voucher will be used to cover the cost of that lost appointment time and will invalidate the use of the voucher.

If the chosen therapy does not cover the cost of voucher purchased, then the difference can be paid at the time of the appointment.  If the therapy chosen is cheaper than the value of the voucher, no change will be given, however, any remaining balance can be put towards another therapy which will be valid for 1 calendar month.

Gift Vouchers donated to local or charitable events for free as raffle prizes must be used within the specified time limits/expiry date stated on the voucher and cannot be redeemed for cash alternative.  Failure to confirm and/or attend an appointment by the expiry date specified invalidates the use of the voucher.  Voucher must be presented at time of appointment.  I am unable to honour vouchers that have been misplaced, lost or stolen.

Policies

Every clients well-being is the driving force for what I do, and I do absolutely love what I do. I would like to respectfully draw your attention to, and Thank You for your time in reading, the following information and policies.  These have been implemented to protect the health and wellbeing of my clients, my family and myself and the viability of my business.  As with all businesses, overheads are a factor, and whether a client attends their appointment or not I still have costs to cover such as insurance, professional membership fees, heating, electricity, laundry, products, to name but a few, as well as my own personal financial commitments that come with everyday family life;

Cancellation Policy

This Policy Includes 'No-Shows' (a 'No Show' is an appointment not attended, without any notice given)

Appointments are booked for you at a time that is mutually agreed.  If you are unable to attend an appointment or need to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours notice is required to avoid 100% of scheduled therapy costs being incurred. By booking an appointment, you agree to this cancellation policy.  For Coronavirus/COVID19 related cancellations, please read my COVID19 Policy and see section relating to cancellations.

Cancellation/No Show fees can be paid via PayPal to: @LauraKitto or via direct bank transfer [bank details will be provided upon request], please use your name as a payment reference. Upon receipt of payment you will be issued with a an electronic receipt for your records.  Once cancellation fees have been received, a future appointment can be confirmed.

The more notice I am given affords me the opportunity to offer the appointment to someone else.

Following a cancellation, I reserve the right to: 

- not offer appointments following cancellations and non-payment of cancellation fees where applicable, and

- request a non-refundable booking fee to secure a future appointment, which will of course be deducted from the cost of the therapy when received.​

 

Well-being Policy

Prior to each appointment all clients are asked to review a Pre-Appointment Questionnaire which will be emailed directly with their appointment reminder.

I would respectfully ask that all clients are at least 48 hours clear of any usual fevers, viruses and symptoms such as sickness and diarrhoea before attending appointments (with the exception of Covid related symptoms which will require a much longer period before treatments will be given, please see Covid19 Policy). I completely understand as we all get ill from time to time, so please do let me know if you are unwell and need to reschedule as soon as you can. It is no longer possible for clients to arrive at an appointment stating that they may ‘have a bit of a cold’. I must work to minimise the risk to the health & wellbeing of fellow clients, some of whom have ongoing conditions with low immunity, my own health and that of my family.  Thank you for your understanding.

Time Keeping

Your commitment to your appointment time is very much appreciated, as is arriving for your appointment on time.  It's important that your appointment time is fully utilised for your relaxation and not impacted in anyway due to late arrival. I always allow a little extra time, in addition to the actual therapy time, however, appointments cannot overrun the allocated diary time impacting other clients or my own family commitments.

Privacy Notice & Data Protection Policy

As a Complementary Therapist, providing therapies to help improve the wellbeing of clients, Laura Kitto is required to note personal information about her clients.  This information will be kept secure, and no personal data will be shared with 3rd party organisations. The only exception to data sharing is where there is a safeguarding concern relating to a child or vulnerable adult perceived to be at the risk of harm, in which case data may be shared with the necessary safeguarding agencies.  Please see Data Protection Policy for full details of how your data is protected.

My Safety Policy

Male clients requesting appointments will be offered appointment dates and times available when I know my husband will be home. 

For gentlemen seeking therapies that I do not advertise, please seek an alternative provider.

It has become necessary to implement this safety policy due to a number of inappropriate enquiries.

On Site Facilities

I do not have client dedicated W.C. facilities, therefore my family bathroom will only be available in the event of an emergency.

Parking

Street Parking is available. I respectfully ask clients to ensure that their vehicles are clear of any neighbouring driveways, ensuring neighbouring residents have clear access to their driveways.

 

Healthcare & Cash Plan Policies

If you have a healthcare or cash plan policy that covers the cost of complementary therapies:

All payment transactions, including cash payments, are recorded electronically on my Zettle payment system.  Payment receipts can be provided via email or text upon receipt of payment at the time of your appointment.

If you are claiming back the costs of your chosen therapies from your private healthcare or cash plan provider, please be assured that my qualifications and professional association membership details are confirmed on my electronic payment receipts.

If your insurer requires an additional company letterheaded receipt please do let me know so I can ensure this is emailed to you, after your appointment, to support your claim.  It is important to note that it is the clients responsibility to ensure that their chosen therapy is covered by their individual healthcare or cash plan policies. If your provider needs to contact me directly to query your claim, I will require the clients written permission in advance to confirm that you are happy for me to confirm the details on the receipt, such as client name, appointment date, therapy given and amount paid - no other personal information will be shared to meet GDPR guidance.
